Windows 8 SNAP by jaycee13 Windows 8 SNAP by jaycee13
One of Windows 8 showcased feature was SNAP. According to Microsoft, this feature is only available on high resolution PCs.

With some registry modifications, you can force enable snap on unsupported machines.

Type regedit on the start screen and look for the following:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\AppPositioner]
"AlwaysEnableLSSnapping"=dword:00000001

If the above keyword doesn't exist, create a new one.

Enjoy!!

You might restart ur PC to have this feature activated.

This is sad :/ can't use this trick on windows 8 RTM Enterprise, I mean like the feature I loved most in Windows 8 is this! The SNAP! Besides this others? Not so. Why do they had to limit us. Is there a way to force SNAP on Windows 8 RTM? I got 1280x800 btw.. this just sad :/ my dream for Windows 8 are gone. D:
